Sad to say, 99% of our snow has melted in the last couple of days, so we were forced to pull our stakes from the trails- deeming our trails CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. I have to tell you, this year it was quite an experience pulling stakes! I took some pictures of our escapade, so you will get an idea as to why we must close our trails! ...I have uploaded them to the photo gallery on our website here --> Photo Gallery
anyhow ....I got stuck a few times...in about a foot of water/snow...I was the one pulling the sleigh full of stakes/signs...(I forgot to take pictures of that!!!) I am thinking we should have taken the quads, but we didn't realize that the snow conditions had deteriorated that much on the trails. Oh well, it was fun and at least is was like +9C, so it wasn't too cold!
So, In closing this season.....
